Polypropylene (PP) is one of the most widely used plastic materials for laboratories.
Structurally it is a vinyl polymer, similar to polyethylene, only that one of the carbons of the monomer unit has a methyl group attached.
Its properties include high melting point (does not melt below 160°C), high rigidity, high resistance to breakage and abrasion, dielectric properties, low friction, shiny surface and flotation in water. It is resistant to acids, alkalis and many organic solvents. It overheats near 100º C.
Roymaplast offers its laboratory customers a wide range of products made 100% in polypropylene such as:
- Base and acid base cabinets and furniture.
- Washbasins, sinks, wells and sinks.
- Worktops.
- Hoods, hoods and fume hoods
- Draining trays.
- Work tables or desks.
- Transport trolleys.
- Shelves.
- Cans.
In addition, today we are introducing TEXTURED POLYPROPYLENE which prevents scratches 30% - 40% more than smooth polypropylene.
It is also more resistant to wear and tear and easy to clean.

We offer both polypropylene finishes to our customers, which will surely adapt to any need.
Contact us, we will adjust to the models, measures and requirements you need.
