What is electrolysis?

The molecules of certain chemical compounds, when in aqueous solution, have the ability to separate into their simpler molecular structures and/or their constituent atoms.
These chemical compounds, which exhibit the property of dissociation or ionization in solution, are called electrolytes, and the chemical reaction of dissociation is called electrolysis.
Electrolysis reactions are the basis for concentrating and purifying copper from the ore from which it was extracted: a method known as electrowinning.

Electrolysis
Electrolysis is a chemical reaction where substances that are dissolved in water (solution) or molten are able to dissociate or ionize into their constituent molecular and/or atomic components.
Dissociation produces electrically charged chemical structures, so that electrolytic solutions are characterized by conducting electric current.
Roymaplas manufactures tanks specially designed for electrolytic baths, adjusting at all times to the needs and projects of each customer.
